Alex is an experienced HR Consultant with a First-Class Honours degree in Law and a background spanning employee relations, workplace investigations, employment law, governance, and compliance. She combines strong legal knowledge with practical HR expertise to deliver commercially focused and people-centred solutions for organisations across a range of sectors.
Before moving into HR and employment law, Alex held senior management positions within the hospitality and leisure industries in both the UK and overseas. This operational leadership experience provides her with a strong understanding of the commercial and people challenges faced by organisations and their managers. It also gives her a practical appreciation of the realities of managing people, performance, organisational change, and business operations in demanding environments.
Alex has worked across both the public and private sectors, supporting employers with complex employee relations matters, case management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, capability processes, workplace investigations, absence management, performance management, organisational restructuring, redundancy programmes, settlement agreements, and Employment Tribunal preparation. She has worked with employees at all levels of organisations, from frontline staff through to senior leaders, directors, and Chief Executive Officers. She is particularly experienced in managing sensitive workplace issues.

Alongside her consultancy work, Alex has acted as a volunteer school governor, providing valuable insight into leadership, governance, stakeholder engagement, and strategic decision-making within the education sector.
