Sarah is an experienced HR professional having started her career as a HR Graduate Trainee for Bombardier Transportation, a multinational railway engineering firm, 18 years ago. Sarah spent 8 years at Bombardier across a variety of generalist HR roles, supporting unionised manufacturing and maintenance sectors and gaining a great breadth of HR experience.
Sarah then moved into a stand-alone HR Manager role at Quotient Clinical, a pharmaceutical research company. This role allowed her to further develop her leadership capability, reporting directly to the MD and overseeing the HR of two sites and a HR team. During this time Sarah led the consultation process to introduce annualised hours contracts for clinical staff, and a site closure and redundancy process.
After 18 months Sarah then returned to work for a larger organisation at Molson Coors Beverage Company as HR Business Partner. Whilst working at Molson Coors she supported the Finance, IT, Sales and Marketing functions partnering with various Board Directors and working as part of their leadership teams. Key Projects including leading the TUPE process to acquire a new beverage brand, facilitating large organisation design projects and developing best practise, and supporting a new sales leadership team to develop trust and work together effectively. Sarah also spent 12 months working in a HR Operations and Change Manager role, providing an interface between the HR Global Business Service team in Romania, and the UK HR team focusing on key UK projects, transferring work from UK HR to the GBS team, and process improvement.
At the end of 2019, Sarah decided to take a different career direction to better fit with her young family and started working as a HR Consultant and studying towards a Post Graduate Certificate in Business and Personal Coaching which she will complete in 2020.
Sarah is also a member of the CIPD with a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management.
